The Game Review:

Bioshock 2 sets 10 years after the events of the original game. The city is different right now, there have been some pretty big change to the landscape. Sophia Lamb rules the underwater city has made change in the appearance and the design of the city. After the fall of Andrew Ryan, the citizen of the Rapture have gained an almost religious zeal for their newly leader. However, that doesn’t mean that they can’t be brought down. This the reason that you came in, as Big Daddy prototype model, you awakened in the midst of chaos with the fact that you have to find your little sister. Things turn complicated and you find yourself in a situation of changing the power system in the city.

Some new enemy added, the new brute splicers, who are big, angry enemy that very active to charge you down, and the biggest enemy addition, is called the Big Sister. The Big Sister are Big Daddy overdrive version, with ability to jumping around the room while attack you with both weapons and plasmids. These enemy are strong and need more effort and strategy to keep being overcome by their constant attack and be able to take Big Sisters down.

There has been a changed on the ADAM Harvesting, in the first game this matter is more easy, simply choose the whether to harvest or save the Little Sister after you take down her Big Daddy protector. While in the sequel of this game, you must use them to find and harvest ADAM from the corpse and then extract it, but be careful as they’ll doing this it’s mean they’ll probably in danger position, assault from splicers. Just keep it sure that you keep them protected until they can finish.

The weapon in Bioshock 2 compare to Bioshock 1 are pretty different. Weapon likes new plasmids and all the weapon that your character will be using in Bioshock 2 will be associated with being a Big Daddy. A machine guns, a shotguns, mines, rivet gun, an arm driller.Which is very helpful when setting traps for splicer attack during harvest time.

The control has been improved and feel a lot more intuitive compare to the first game. Juggle between plasmids and weapons are more effective, and you be able to update your weaponry and plasmids at vending machines. The mini game has been changed, Gone is the Pipe Dream-style mini game when you wanna hack something.

Other big feature added in Bioshock 2 which is the addition of multiplayer. With different story and setting from the single player campaign, takes you in the middle of civil war that split up prior to the first events on the previous game. The games modes are very impressive, with more variations likes Capture the Flags and Team Deathmatch. The more interesting part is that you can customize your character, letting you increase level as you play, unlock more perks and more ability for your character.
