Ubisoft’s newest entry, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is an action games that you can play when the girlfriend is gone and the kids is not around and you need to unleash some wicked sword to play the games.
You play as Travis with a beam katana as your weapon, the games tell story about Travis journey to moving up the assassin rankings to the number one overall to get back your rightful place at the top, beside the mission to get number one Travis also looking for revenge as well as the recognition, especially since Travis been the target of vengeance by the enemy.
As a Wii game Desperate Struggle it’s not going to have the same graphical power behind it other console games. But Grasshopper Manufactured as the developer cranked the art and style up to 11, so instead of fighting that losing battle Grasshopper giving the series a different looks, a unique look that different from the others.
The gameplay is not that difficult, when I was taking the first step into the series, it’s take five minute to read the manual on how the control scheme works. And as I figure out the game control are not complicated and are intuitive, you have the time to learn and mastered them. The battle is enjoyable and varied at the boss battles, but it can be a bit monotonous when you forced to wait for the next wave of grunts to die with less effort or danger to self.
The camera is outstanding, it works well enough and allows for fast repositioning and enemy locks. Camera it’s very important element in a third-person action titles such as of this. Sometimes camera work can be a frustrating downfall fall for such a solid games. For the motion controls, it integrated well in both the combat and mini games .
The sound likes voice acting and dialogue are the best parts in the entire game. And the cut scene are something that you’ll never want to skip.
No doubt Desperate Struggle is a fantastic experience for the adult crowd that is chaotic and extremely likable. It take times less than 15 minutes to found myself completely hooked. Desperate Struggle is another experience for action and extremely unique games.
