In Mafia II you play as Vito Scaletta, you has to rise up your ranks of the criminal underworld of Empire Bay, Mafia II is the sequel to the previous games, and try not to get killed.

Mafia II is a sandbox-style third-person action/driving games type, developer by 2 Czech for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The games was announced at the Leipzig Games Convention, after many delays, Mafia II is now set for a North America release on August 24 and worldwide on August 27.

Metal Gear Solid without Kojima in a directorial role, what would that be? Is Metal Gear Solid: Rising, the first Metal Gear Solid series without Kojima hand as a director. Rising, has Raiden as the protagonist.

Overview
This game is the sixth game in the Metal Gear Solid franchise, and would be the eights game in the overall Metal Gear series announced by Hideo Kojima at E3 2009. And Metal Gear Solid: Rising is the first Metal Gear title to be made for the Xbox 360 console. The main character is Raiden, the former protagonist of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and support Snake in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of Patriots.

Limbo, what makes it so amazing, once you enter its world, is like your dream slowly become nightmare. The black and white visuals make you confuse about where you are. No music, and the audio is oddly amplified, slowly pulling you into the dark forest where you will meet a boy. The boy awakens and you’re beginning to walking, and the terrible danger and beauty of your surroundings begin to take action. And not for long you will completely absorbed in the other world, the black and white netherworld.

Limbo is downloadable XBLA title which is release originally in US on July 21, 2010, with standard genre mechanics are combined in one place. Is a side scrolling platformer of jumping, climbing, and puzzling. Push and pull boxes, hit the switch, active contraptions. With all this mechanic element for standard games Limbo present through a filter of evocative visuals and original design concepts. There is no story to tell except vague description of a boy’s search for his sister.

Dead Space 2 is the sequel episode of the previous games that hit on 2008. Dead Space was a third-person Survival Horror game, and the sequel is in development and schedule for release in 2011 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. EA confirmed that Isaac Clarke still be the main character.

Three years after the event in the first games, Isaac Clarke continues his battle against the Necromorph. Following his encounter with the previous game Isaac is now plagued by disturbing visions. And also for the record that the church of Unitology and the government will play their important involvement in the story.

As Visceral Games confirmed that this time Isaac will be taking the fight with the Necromorphs, and Dead Space 2 will be more aggressive than in the previous Dead Space. (more…)

Metroid: Other M, new Metroid series development jointly by Team Ninja and Nintendo. The game takes times between the events of Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion.

The game is the latest installment in the Metroid series and the second Metroid title for Nintendo Wii. Metroid: Other M is a join production of Nintendo and Tecmo studio Team Ninja under the “Project M”, and it was revealed to the public during Nintendo’s E3 press conference on June 2, 2009. The game is schedule for release on August 31st, 2010.

The game feature a third person action-adventure that try to combines the third-person action of the earlier 2D games in the series with the 3-D environments from the Metroid Prime trilogy. User use the Wiimote to control Samus Aran, navigate the environment and battle the enemies. That case, Samus action are handled using Wiimote directional pad instead an analogue stick (more…)
