The Games Review:
Capcom has once again bring games with the fighting genre on the console, a famous title Tatsunoko Vs Capcom: Ultimate All Star. The fighting game series has retuned to its former glory. Did you ever heard about Tatsunoko animation? Don’t worry the Tatsunoko character fit perfectly into the games. From Gatchaman to gigantic and stunning Gold Lightan also the swift and cunning Karas, every character united into the background and present amazing picture of fighting games.
The control of the games it was so easy to pick up, even for non gamer will able to fully understand the controls in about 15 minutes or so. Well, the concerns about how the controls would be answered and were quickly erased after you play the game in about 10 minutes. The games made as casual fighting games so everyone can easily play the games.
As Wiimote and Nunchuk for the controller, perform special maneuvers and hyper combos, players don’t have to work hard to get 30-40 maneuver combos, the flick from Wiimote and Nunchuk with combination of the A & B buttons allows players to perform Ryu’s Shinku Hadoken. But before you takes this action you need to building up the hyper-combo gauge at the bottom of the screen, to fill the gauge it shouldn’t take too long time because the gauge will fill as you receive any damage, performing attacks and even missing attack fills up the gauge bar.
There are a lot of crazy specialties to learn from the cross-over air raid (get your opponent into the air and switching places with your partners in reserve to continue the attack), team hyper combo (combination of hyper-combos with your party member), baroque combo (chain combo that happen while performing another attack), and mega crash (sends enemy into the air if they get too close), and much more. All the combos is highly superb to see in the action, but wasting Hyper-combos is not smart idea to do, as the enemy could easily store up a level five hyper combo with which to retaliate. There’s a lot of strategy that you should learn by doing since button-smashing may very well send the player into a smashing world of hurt. Overall the control and the combos it’s generally simple.
In the game, the arcade mode ended with fighting against terrible boss Okami’s Yami. You have through eight battles before you meet the boss. Which I think is very short normally fighting game have 12 stages to clear, but isn’t bad thing anyway since finishing the arcade mode several times allows players to get Zenny to buy new moves, outfit, movies, gallery items and of course to buy a new character.
The available character include:
1. Frank West from Dead Rising’s (team Capcom)
2. Zero from Mega Man X’s (team Capcom
3. Tekkaman Blade from Tekkamen’s (team Tatsunoko)
4. Joe The Condor from Science Ninja Team Gatchaman’s (team Tatsunoko)
5. Yatterman 2 from Yatterman (team Tatsunoko)
Unlocking characters and in-game items doesn’t help the replay value for the online multiplayer. there wer time that the online element would work with any complications, but it was a rare things to happens. There are too many times of lag on performing linked combos.
The Rating Score for Tatsunoko Vs Capcom Ultimate All-Stars:
1. Gameplay: 8.5

2. Graphics: 8.5
An excellent style of game provide 3D character on 2D plane.
