The Games Review:

The upcoming hits from Uncharted that takes the success formula from the first game and pushes it to new heights both literally and figuratively. There are more jokes and some really good chuckles stemming from the dialogue and cut scene. Added new character and familiar ones.

Uncharted 2 storyline takes about the adventures of Marco Polo and specifically when he comeback from China. It tells when Polo left China, he had 14 ships with more than 600 passengers and crew. And when he finally made his home port, most of the ship are gone only one ship remained with 18 passengers. This is the things that Drake want to investigate, that draw him back to the adventure.

Drake want to know about what happen to those other ships. But, as usually it evolves into something much greater – the Cintamani Stone (a fable jewel that grants the owner great power) and the path to Shambala. No doubt, Drake will back into full adventure mode, and one that you must keep in mind here is not to trust anyone.

Drake’s play as a war criminal who heads a private army and is on the trail. Alongside the game he teams up with Chloe, who seems to has own agenda in all this and eventually met with Elena, and there are nasty, dangerous monster that seems to crawl out of legend and believe me the things are very hard to kill.

Naughty Dog as the developer has crafted the game that is somewhat linear, and has balance combination of repetition in terms of raging gun battles and puzzles, incorporating the platform elements very well. You have to look around find the way, sometimes it can be handholds in the wall, and this way is your way to continues. Once you kill the bad guys you can pick their weapons, many kind of weapon to range from nice guns to RPGs. Well, is just beginning wait until you go up against a tank and you will definitely has to found a weapon to beat the tanks.

The game sets start on Borneo and moves into the Himalayas. With amazing scene from the graphics, the beauty of Himalayas clearly outstanding. Uncharted 2 is not difficult game to play, from a control standpoint, it is easy to learn. In fact, the control scheme is straightforward type in design. The dialogue is very humorous and even pokes fun at itself, the more humor than the previous episode.

Uncharted 2 brings multiplayer into the mix, with some cooperative sessions through game maps. Also, you can gained achievements particular to each weapons, as well as score for the type of attack that you commence to the enemy, such as headshots.

Uncharted 2 is fun to play, from the action adventure and graphic standpoint, of course this game is soars on the PS3. When you play a game that everybody can watch and enjoy how the game is playing out, that is the value of interesting and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is the game with this value.

1. Gameplay: 9
Easy to use and learn, the game is straight forward, with some cut scene interruptions. There are repetitious elements and the game does get to the point where you’re not surprised by the path you have to take to get from point A to point B

2. Graphics: 9
The world is grand and wonderful, but there are something that reduced the score in the graphics. There are some lack of environment geometry under the stone when Drake on opening missions, attempting to break into a museum to steel lamp, a jump was missed and Drake ended up hanging over the railing.

The music and the dialogue are perfect.
