Square Enix present an upcoming Xbox 360-exclusive shooter “Gun Loco.”

Gun Loco is the next game from Square Enix and is targeted to be released sometime in 2011. Gun Loco is third-person shooter game, set on a planet in the farthest reaches of the solar system where only the craziest criminal are sent, players must find and fight their way to freedom. The character model’s were designed and created as action figures by Kenny Wong, and the fully models were then implemented into the game. The game’s tone suppose is meant to be humorous in nature, also Gun Loco will have feature online multiplayer that allows up to twelve players play together.

This game is a downladable 2D side-scrolling beat-em-up developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Chengdu and will published by Ubisoft. The games takes the story from the Scott Pilgrim series of graphic novels and relates with the Scott Pilgrim vs The World movie. Scott Pilgrim which is Canadian Slackers battles the seven evil exes of Ramone Flowers to win her heart. The game set as $10 via PlayStation Network on August 10, 2010 as a limited time, and will released on the Xbox via Xbox Live Arcade on August 25, 2010.

The game style is deliberately retro, presenting chiptune music from Anamanguchi punk band and retro pixel art by Paul Robertson (Pirate Baby’s Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006 and Kings of Power 4Billion %).
The game also features references to classic video games and anime, while the gameplay equal to River City Ransom.

Crysis 2 set three years after the event of the original Crysis, many cities around the globe have been destroyed. Your role is to fight Crynet System once again, you with a Nanosuit equipped super soldier has to fight the makers of your Nanosuit, and aliens on a chaotic Manhattan island.

The story happens at the year 2023, three years after the Crysis, many cities including London and Rio have been crushed. The main character from the Crysis once again have to battles against Crynet Sytems Infantry and aliens. Who is the main character has not been revealed but it seems that that Nomad from the first game will take the role back.

It’s basic 2D game brawler, you can slicing, shooting and chainsawing the enemies who gets in your way.

Shank is a revival of the traditional brawler game. With 2D combo system, some people say is a God of War or Devil May Cry in 2D technology. The protagonist has three weapons, dual pistol, a chainsaw, and double knives. Every weapons is mapped to a face button letting players to switch weapons similar to Fable II’s combat system. The character also can jump, scaling buildings, using knives to climb.

Shank also nominated as an IGF finalist in art direction. And as the write Shank has Marriane Krawczyx who also write the God of War III. And the game is set to release on August 24, 2010 on the PSN and Xbox Live on August 25. The price of the game will be $14.99 or 1200 MP (Microsoft Points).
